Our consulting division supports mobile network operators and infrastructure providers in rolling out and upgrading their national infrastructure networks. We coordinate contractors, manage delivery workflows, provide transparent reporting, and ensure contractual compliance across large‑scale deployment programs. To expand this capability, we are looking for a Business Consultancy Specialist – Project Management to supervise an external site acquisition partner within a major national rollout initiative.
What this role is about
You will manage and supervise the performance of an external site acquisition partner operating within a large‑scale infrastructure rollout. Your responsibility is to ensure that acquisition activities progress according to contractual obligations, program timelines, and client‑defined processes.
This is a project‑management‑focused consulting role: you will oversee delivery workflows, track progress across the entire acquisition program, identify risks, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure that the partner’s work remains aligned with the client’s operational structures. Instead of managing individual sites, you will manage the project framework — ensuring that reporting, communication, and delivery standards are consistently met.
You will work directly with the client’s systems, processes, and governance structures. Your role is to maintain clarity, drive accountability, and ensure that the acquisition partner delivers reliably within the client’s operational environment.
Your responsibilities
- Supervising the delivery performance of an external site acquisition partner within a national rollout program
- Monitoring project‑level progress, risks, and dependencies across the acquisition workflow
- Ensuring compliance with contractual, procedural, and technical requirements defined by the client
- Using the client’s reporting tools, systems, and governance processes to track and manage delivery
- Preparing structured status updates and contributing to client‑facing reporting
- Coordinating stakeholders — including the client, contractors, and internal project teams — to maintain alignment and resolve blockers
- Escalating delays or deviations through defined channels and ensuring corrective actions are implemented
- Supporting the continuous improvement of delivery workflows, reporting standards, and communication structures
What you bring
- Native-level or C1 German proficiency, both written and spoken
- Strong project‑management capabilities: structured working style, reliability, and attention to detail
- Confidence supervising external partners and maintaining delivery discipline
- Ability to interpret timelines, risks, and dependencies in complex rollout programs
- Comfort working with digital tools (Office 365, project trackers, shared workspaces, client systems)
- A calm, solution‑oriented approach when dealing with uncertainties or stakeholder challenges
- Curiosity and willingness to learn the commercial, contractual, and technical aspects of infrastructure rollout
- Prior telecom or infrastructure experience is helpful but not required — full onboarding provided
